Stephanie McCarthy
Stephanie is a practitioner, educator, and coach who partners with leaders, teams, groups, and fellow coaches to generate greater clarity, congruence, and connection. Passionate about creating cultures of belonging where everyone can be seen, valued, and heard, Stephanie draws on evidence-based approaches in leadership development, positive psychology, and positive organizational scholarship to generate shifts at individual, team, and system levels. She is often recognized for her warmth and presence, which helps facilitate generative and connected group learning experiences.
Stephanie brings over a decade of experience in leadership and organization development, mostly working with complex organizations in the higher education and healthcare sectors. In leading the Coaching Services portfolio at a regional healthcare organization in Canada, Stephanie promotes ethical and reflective coaching practice among the community of coaches.
Broadening her work experience, Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology which involved conducting published research on group coaching and positive relationships at work. She continues to contribute to the field by exploring the intersections of wellbeing, compassion, and belonging. This includes presentations on her practice and research at the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) World Congress, Positive Organizational Scholarship Research Conference, and the International Leadership Association (ILA) Global Conference with upcoming presentations at the European Conference on Positive Psychology and Huddle ’24.
Stephanie is a European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Accredited Coach, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). Additional formal credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education. A lifelong learner, Stephanie also holds Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Coaching Out of the Box, Integrative Development Practitioner, and Clear Leadership certifications. She has also completed Existential Coaching training and a Trauma-informed Coaching Certification.

Marian Rosefield
Marian Rosefield, MSc, brings over two decades of coaching experience to the vanguard of the field since joining the profession in 2001, embodying an unwavering commitment to evidence-based practices. As an EMCC Accredited Coach (Senior Practitioner), coaching supervisor, positive psychology practitioner, researcher, facilitator, trainer, reiki master, and mental health first aider, Marian crafts a nuanced and comprehensive framework, providing clients with a flexible, reflective, safe, and appreciative space for personal and professional growth.
Her academic pursuits, culminating in a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, form the bedrock of Marian's integrative approach. Seamlessly weaving the science of well-being into her coaching methodology, Marian infuses her practice with humour and curiosity. Her research focus on compassion fatigue and burnout in the coaching profession has manifested in publications. Notably, her article 'Lost the ‘Bounce in Your Bungee’: A Grounded Theory Study into Compassion Fatigue and Burnout in the Coaching Profession' published in the International Journal of Evidence-Based Coaching and Mentoring (Rosefield, 2023) and 'A case for coach-care' recently published in The Coaching Psychologist (Rosefield, 2024) demonstrates Marian's commitment to advancing scholarly and professional conversations within the coaching community about coach-care.
Marian also serves as the Deputy Director for Coaching Practice: Knowledge Exchange and co-leads the Health & Wellbeing Special Interest Group at EMCC UK. Her multifaceted contributions underscore her enduring dedication to elevating coaching ethics, well-being, and discourse within the professional community.
